Post-op Period

I had WLS (Lapband) done this past Tuesday. I have Mirena, so I very rarely have a period. I have had a very heavy period since Wednesday with no lightening. Is this normal? Thanks!!!

Not sure if normal. but my doctor told me this week that dramatic changes in weight (whether gain or loss) could affect menstruation in strange ways. 

I had my surgery (RNY) 12-22-14(4 weeks)  and have had 3 bouts of heavy bleeding since then. Lasting 3-4 days each. Before surgery I wouldn't get my period maybe 4 times a year. So I do think surgery messes everything up for a bit.

And I haven't had a period in 6 months!  SO I think it definitely can mess with it, one way or another.
