Need help, Failed band that is being taken out.

I havent used this board very much but i need some advice on weightloss after band is taken out. I have had several complications and my current doctor wants to take it out. Is there a board for this? or would this board be the best one for me.

There is a board for Failed Weight Loss Surgery and one for Revisions -see Forum tab above. There is also a private group specifically for Failed Lapband but I don't know how to find that one! 

But unfortunately, once the band is gone, you are back you doing it on your own. If you have been able to change your lifestyle and eating habits, you just have to carry on. It won't be easy but you can only try. Maybe join Weigh****chers?

You can find a group by clicking More, Community, Groups and then search for the group you are looking for

There is a failed bands group that you're more than welcome to join, if you feel it might help.

There's not much discussion these days, but there is a lot of information that may help you. 

Otherwise, the revision board is also a good place to find information.

Others have given you the site.  I just want to say to you...DO NOT FEEL YOU HAVE FAILED!!!!!

I also had the band for 7 years, lost 80 pounds after the first 18 months and had the stupid thing removed this past July.  I am now getting ready to have the Gastric Sleeve.  Do not give up and do not feel you have failed!
