A family affair

so I was sleeved in May 2014. Feeling great! I see many posts about unsupportive spouses or perhaps ones who aren't sure how to be supportive. And obviously am aware of the high divorce rate that accompanies this surgery. I have been married going on 11 years. My husband has also struggled with weight his entire life. (Im sure has a role in him being supportive of me) well about 10 yrs ago he had lost over 100 without surgery over the years put it back on. When I had my surgery we viewed this as  new start for the both of us TOGETHER. Well he has lost close to 60lb now we workout together again our children are eating healthy with us. And hopefully we are installing better behaviors so they don't become obese as adults. I'm so glad he is by my side. Hopefully this inspires some! A little positive vibes for the day and hope for all the married people here :-) keep it up!

Hi Delilah - happy to hear that your husband is being a wonderful support for you!  Even more excited to think about the changes you'll see in your kids and how it's going to impact them in a positive way for many years to come.  Way to be a role model for them!
