I have heard of a 5 day reset for getting back on track. Please advise.

You're thinking of the five day pouch test, which isn't really any kind of test and doesn't really reset anything.  It is a five day fad diet for WLS folks.  To get back on track, just go back to following your plan.

People swear by it. But unfortunately Poet Kelly is right! Just a form of masochism. It won't reset anything.

the only thing it might do is get you back off carbs if that has been your problem.

just go back to eating according to your plan.

Highest 290, Banded - 248   Lowest 139 (too thin!). Comfort zone 155-165.

Happily banded since May 2006.  Regain of 28lbs 2013-14.  ALL GONE!

But some has returned! Up to 175, argh! Off we go again,

There isn't a reset for getting back on track except just doing it.  Have you returned to some of the unhealthy habits that you had pre-WLS?  What are you doing now that you weren't when you lost weight and/or what are you not doing that you did?  Getting back on track is a process of returning to the healthy habits that you had when you lost weight.

Check out the Back on Track Together group.
