Part 2..my 2 month hotel stay
I often spend the week in hotels, and I have found those at room service were very accommodating to me. If they had the ingredients in the kitchen, we would come up with ideas of dishes they could make for me. You can even order carry-out from the bar and go down and pick it up. The bar prices are often cheaper and you don't have any gratuity added. I get a per-diem so I try to profit from that as much as I can and still eat well. The other option is getting out and experiencing the local cuisine. Just focus on protein and veggies. Try to get a colleague to share something with you and don't hesitate to ask for half portions.
Once I reached platinum status and had access to the Concierge lounges, there were many free protein sources for me, from eggs and sausage for breakfast to cheese and meatballs for happy hour
