Wow, Kathy! You are fast, fast, fast! Thanks for your help. Now I feel whole. :-)
Totally understand, don't be afraid to look dumb, post away! I'm a techno dodo myself.
It took me months to get an avatar on there & I refuse to change it since it was such a pain to get it on there in the first place. It's the same reason why I don't have any pictures posted, all though I might try again once I'm at goal. I want to post one with me on a bike, really liked a picture someone posted of herself on a motorcycle & thought, yeah that's where I want to be!
No one surgery is better than the other, what works for one may not work for another. T-Rebel
Kathy, I agree with this suggestion. For me, the minimum should be enough info so that surgery type and date appear on every post. I can't be bothered checking out profiles and many don't have the info anyway. Answering g questions otherwise can be pointless.
Highest 290, Banded - 248 Lowest 139 (too thin!). Comfort zone 155-165.
Happily banded since May 2006. Regain of 28lbs 2013-14. ALL GONE!
But some has returned! Up to 175, argh! Off we go again,
i think its fine the way it is. imo each user should be able to decide how much or how little info they choose to share with others on the board
i fail to see where it being "fair" has anything to do with filling out a personal profile or adding surgery info? no one has to do it, including you or i or anyone. it's a choice. and in kind it might not be "fair" to those who don't want to share that info to compel them to do so
yes i know, "wah wah." but imo we should be allowed to share as much or as little about ourselves in this regard as we like, not as someone else would like. that is what fair looks like to me
IMO
