BCBSNC Denial :(

I was denied Gastric Bypass a month or so ago. I hired Lindstrom Obesity Advocacy. I have the upmost faith that it will be approved. However, I am so stressed that I will not have surgery before march 10th when my insurance restarts. How long did your appeal take? When did you hear back?

Yes, why were you denied? I'm getting ready to send my paperwork in to BCBSNC. I meet with my surgeon on 1/22 and have met all the other criteria that BCBSNC has listed.

My initial denial was in December. We resubmitted in January. I hired Lindstrom in February/March and won my case in May. You may not make your deadline but Kelley can tell you what to expect. Did you talk to her?
