Does Kaiser Insurance conver Bariatric?
Hi bellalynacy,
Everyone's policy is different. The best way to find out is call the number on the back of your (or her) insurance card and see if they cover WLS and if so are there are pre-qualifications. If this is her insurance, she can speak to her HR contact and they can tell her if it's covered as well.

OR she can get a copy of her policy (called an Evidence of Coverage and is about 100 pages long) and read it for herself.

Most insurance companies OFFER bariatric coverage -- but MANY employers choose NOT to purchase that part of the plan because it adds extra expense to EVERY employee for something that only SOME will take advantage of.
You have to see HER individual policy to know if HER employer carries the coverage.
