I use Nestle's No Sugar Added Hot Chocolate mix, add a scoop of nf dried milk and then add boiling ho****er.  No clumps, no mixing misses. The Nestle's has 1 gram of protein and the nf dried milk adds 8 grams of protein, so I don't worry about the protein content too much for one serving..

I warn you, it's hard to find on the store shelves.  I have found it online with Walmart, etc., but I don't like to do business with Walmart so I drive 15 miles round-trip to a little town near where I live and buy 4 boxes of it at a time!

I love love love this diet hot chocolate.  My grocery store doesn't keep it so I buy it on amazon.

I boil water in the microwave in a bottle.  In a mug, I put in the packet of swiss miss and a packet of splenda.  I add the boiling water slowly and use a small whisk to VIGOROUSLY whisk the hot chocolate as the water is added.  This is the only thing I have found that works.  I like to add a splash of Peppermint Paddy sugar-free syrup too.  It's like a 25 calorie thin mint (kind of lol).  Good luck!

We shouldn't have to work so hard to get our hot chocolate lump free

I personally do not like the swiss miss diet but I LOVE the nestle fat free http://www.amazon.com/Nestle-Cocoa-Free-7-33-Ounce-Canisters /dp/B001EQ4H7G Here it is on Amazon but you can buy it at regular grocery stores!! I usually add half a tablespoon of regular unsweetened cocoa powder as well. It deepens the flavor in my opinion.
