Has anyone used the Diet Swiss Miss Hot Chocolate?
I've been using our nutribullet to mix all my hot chocolate. Recently, I made the Alton Brown instant hot Chocolate mix using non-fat milk powder, Stevia, and really good dutch processed cocoa. Its cheaper and better. I add a little more cocoa and stevia than the recipe calls for.
On another note, I recently started drinking a new milk called Fairlife. I have not tried it yet, but I am thinking about heating this in a microwave and adding cocoa and stevia to taste. Again, I'll probably blend it in a nutribullet to make it smooth.
I've had zero luck with protein powder in hot chocolate, but I have not tried mixing it with cold water before adding it to the ho****er.
I haven't seen this in my area yet. I am going to look for it. I am all for more protein and less sugar.

The milk is awesome on its own in a glass. Its thicker than regular milk, and even though it is fat free, has the mouthfeel of a higher fat milk. I just have not tried making hot chocolate with it. I use it to make Steel cut oats with high protein.
I started by adding 1 part steel cut oats to two parts water, and bringing the water to a boil. I generally do this before I go to bed. When the water boils, turn off the heat and cover tightly. Let the oats sit overnight.
I usually make several servings, and so in the morning, I will portion out the oats into containers and put in the fridge.
When I want to eat the oats, i start by addding 1 par****er to the refridgerated oats (based on the initial proportions) and bring to a boil in a microwave. Then I add one or two parts of the fairlife milk and bring to a boil again. Add a sweetener, berries, vanilla etc according to your taste.
It sounds complicated, but its easier than you think. I get good fiber, and good protein in the morning. Between the fiber and protein, this is a stick to your ribs breakfast.
It's mh snack every night. I mix mine with skim milk! I micro for one min and 35 seconds and mix well. I get no clumps with the skim milk, I have never made with water.
