I had my 2 week post-op appointment yesterday and I've lost 26 pounds!  I'm feeling pretty good since the surgery but still get tired easily.  I haven't been able to take walks like I'm supposed to because of a condition in my spine called spondylolisthesis.  I have constant back pain from this and I'm hoping as I lose weight the pain will decrease.  The only type of exercise I could do before the surgery that didn't cause me pain was water aerobics.  My surgeon told me I could start back on that next Monday!  I'm very excited to be able to return to the pool.

How exciting! I had knee issues (had to walk steps one at a time) and now, five months post op and 84 pounds gone, I can walk the steps like everyone else and have so much less pain. I bought a recumbent bike for exercise. I am sure your pain will lessen. Yay for you!

Water aerobics sounds like a wonderful way to exercise.  It's -31 here today with the wind chill and soaking in warm water sounds pretty awesome right now - lol!

Congrats on the 26 lb. loss!
