Surgery didn't work

Everyone on here has slipped up. Don't let them fool you. I have slipped several times and am down almost 100 pounds in 8 months. The key is exercise and when you slip up just get back to it. This forum in my opinion isn't the best place for support. There are many great people but several that are just mean. I personally wouldn't recommend this site for support but more for information. I found some great resources here but I would never come here looking for support. Just sayin

I didn't slip up. Don't speak on my behalf. I followed my post op instructions. Period. I understood the importance.

Thanks for telling me that.  I am new here and on the third thread I have looked at on this site, I see the disgusting cruel attitude of chilli whatever the face.  Gross.

Are you preop or postop?  Your page only gives limited information. You should be not thinking and taking the advice of people saying it's ok to slip up. I would seriously take stock of your personal situation and choose the advise of people who may be blunt but are merely stating facts.

Forum nanny/handpatting line forms to the left. Posters who care enough to tell the truth to the right.

Better the OP gets a kick in the pants now than have a second revision. Babying her harms more than helps.

Sara20145-

That precious angel Chilipepita has a point. Do take stock-look who is going to offer you honest advice without being an ahole and honest advice without patting your hand in a condescending manner and telling you its ok. You need inbetween-honest and frank support. I'm not someone who posts constantly, I'm not a DR, I'm just someone who has struggled with her weight and who got a chance to have some help to "fix" it. I am grateful for the support that I've had. It isn't easy. We all SHOULD follow the advice of our physicians and dieticians-but we are ALL (well, most of us) human and we screw up. If we screw up, we own it. I have screwed up more times than I like to think in my life but I take responsibility for it. Best of luck in your journey-surround yourself with people who will support you, not baby you, and be honest AND supportive.

Wow! you kidding here? Chili has real and true advice to give. Listen to her, she's not going to placate a person but she is REAL! You want someone to pat your hand and say there, there, precious one---post somewhere else.

If Chili told me something I would be all like.....uh-huh.....gonna listen.

and for the record, SUPPORT holds people accountable rather than saying....oh, you ate a pound of chocolates, just don't do it tomorrow.

Just sayin'

She is 2 weeks post of from a revision of another surgery where she admittedly failed because she ate around her band. I agree she needs a work up, but from a counselor instead. How many surgeries do you need to finally "get it"?
