Now, speaking like you do, I am sure people will listen to you.  Or not.  Calm the bleep down.

I'm not here to pat someone on the head who has admitted she failed her band by eating around it and the was lucky to get a revision from a well respected surgeon and eats a 10.5 oz can of cream soup less than a week post op and then makes a post saying the "surgery failed".

NO I did not succumb to my wants for food early out, I made a promise to my surgeon and to myself

&

I COULD CARE LESS WHAT YOU THINK OF ME.

This person is going to just be another statistic because she has no self control.

So go wag your finger somewhere else. Patting her on the head isn't going to help her. Making her realize that she is risking her life by not following her post op instructions is.

Isnt that what you were Chilipepper? Just another statistic...another overweight FAILED at weight loss on your own Statistic...you are a BULLY! Is that what people use to say to you..you were a FAILURE because you couldn't lose weight...that being overweight was your own FAULT...so now you project all those negative feelings upon others who are only here asking for help! At least I can be honest and I'm looking for guidance and support instead you just tear people down..what makes you better then anyone else? Why because you didn't give into your cravings?? Ok let me bow down to you the almighty fighter of food cravings...so I guess that makes you better then the rest of us...by the way you should take down your hypocritical Bob Marley post...you are the FIRST person to judge others...you have no idea about my life...you are the one with dirty fingers!

I didn't fail my surgery. I followed my post op instructions.

This has nothing to do with anything preop.

She didn't say you failed your surgery. She was trying to use reasoning to get you to get a clue as to how brash you are.  You were obviously overweight because you didn't have it all together in the way of eating and keeping your body in shape. That is how you ended up needing surgery. You're calling a person a failure who went through major surgery only 2 weeks ago in an effort to lose weight? Yet you, yourself are a failure in that you couldn't lose weight without surgery.

She went through her 2nd surgery 2 weeks ago she is a revision from a band which she admits she failed because she learned and continued to eat around it. Then she was fortunate enough to have a surgeon give her a second chance. 5 days post op she has no self control and comes on here and blames the surgery. This surgery isn't a band. This surgey can be dangerous early out of you don't follow your post op instructions. She could cause a leak, stretch her stoma, bust a stitch, pop a staple line not to mention the psychological problems assuming the surgery failed rather than taking personal responsibility for your actions.

I really don't care what you think about my tone. I have seen people die over the years because of their reluctance to take this seriously.

Chili, if you're having a bad day, just don't answer posts.  Chill, Kid.

RNY surgery makes a small pouch PLUS less absorption of nutrients. Dont listen to people who put you down without knowing whats going on, I too have a hard time believing how your doctor can say some people's surgery fail, but maybe you need a second opinion. I ate a whole bag of cheese puffs in one day and still continued to lose. Go get this checked out. Sounds like you could have a botched surgery. Not all of us on this forum are like a few. I rarely post but when I saw how you were being attacked for the sake of helping you? I had to say something.

Chilipepper, perhaps a different approach if you are seriously wanting to help someone. Now she has deactivated her membership and cannot get help from any of us. Remember how you felt when someone told you to just "PUT DOWN THE FORK" ? obviously a comment like that didnt work for you, nor will it work for any of us. We care about everyone on this forum!! You included!
