Am I eligible for a weight loss revision?
That seems like a very carb and slider heavy diet. If there's nothing wrong with your system, as verified by your surgeon, then it's got to be your lifestyle that has left you short of reaching your goals.
Focus on dense protein like chicken breast and steak. Make sure you're getting in all of your water. Get rid of the processed carbs and cut back on the fruits which are nothing more than sugar.
It sounds like you need compliance, not a revision.

I hear your distress. Don't have any suggestions to ramp up the weight loss. I had to have a revision due to bile reflux which was causing chronic pain and gastric bleeding. The approval process for revision drove me nearly around the bend. By the time I turned 65 yes 65, Medicare was a resource and I did have the revision. It was not an easy surgery and recovery was longer than I expected. Weight loss has been minimal, but the bile reflux and symptoms are gone. Just say'n, look for all possible solutions before undergoing another surgery.
Maybe its a case of walk, walk, walk.
I find it doesn't matter how much I eat so much as how much I move.
Hope that helps. Good luck!
Ok, what are your numbers in mfp? You obviously have not been compliant with your meal portions. If you had been, you should by this far out have lost more than 60lbs and not gained back 30.
Are you seeing a dietician at your surgeons centre? Your in Toronto correct? You would be under the centres that share HRRH, TWH so I would think your surgeon has an enormous amount of experience being apart of Canada's largest bariactric centre areas?
Seriously, I feel for you. RNY is simply a tool, you know that. Use it incorrectly, it doesn't work. No matter what 'revision' you feel may work, the most important piece is our mental state and how we deal with not only the physical change that this surgery will bring, but all the mental stuff, why we ate, how we ate, how can we change that? How can YOU change that?
You can, you really can. There is help out there, first get in to see the social worker at your centre, then see the dietician. It's about your mental state now, the physical work has been done my friend.
Good luck.

Thanks to all that have reached out. I turned to mostly fruits a lot because of what some of you touched based on about me eating more protein, when I ate protein, I noticed that is when the weight gain began. After seeing weight gain from protein, I've decided to stay away and eat mostly fruits. I'm surprised fruits would bring weight gain like some of you had said. I try to eat soft fruits and eat lots of veggies. Apples not as often as I love raspberries, grapes and strawberries the most. I walk often. Part of my exercising routine. Walk 30 mins 3-4 times a week. And yes I have attended the HRRH. My surgeon might be very experienced but I find that a lot of his clients that went thru him, compared to the others that are his colleagues, He is the one with the least amount of weight loss clients meanwhile his other colleagues have very slim patients. I just feel tipping at 300 pounds, roux en y was not the answer and if he seriously knew what he was doing, he wouldn't have done the roux en y on me knowing that the roux en y cannot be revised. I would have been more satisfied with the Gastric Sleeve. But I really do appreciate all the support from the forum and don't have no one to blame but myself. But protein I feel is a definite no no at this point as that is where my weight gain began. As soon as I introduced protein years ago.
Again my only words of advise are for you to go see the dietician at HRRH stop blaming the surgeon or the procedure and a take responsibility for what you have at hand.
Simply follow the plan. I am NOT saying it's simple to to that but you just follow it or it won't work.
Thank you Dear. I will take in what you said and maybe request another dietician if this one that I'm using is guiding me the wrong way. I know now I'm on my own and have to find a way to lose the weight. I don't wanna upset anyone by blaming this person or that person. I'm just very emotional and sad about my weight issues. But I'm going to be strong and seek help and make some changes. I appreciate all for their views and expertise. A little tough love doesn't hurt to get me back on track. I also know that a revision possibly wouldn't be the answer if I don't change my eating habit what it may be. I personally don't see anything wrong with fruits but I will get a second opinion from another dietician. Happy New year to all. Hope to see weight loss again in 2015!
Is your current dietician actually telling you to eat the way you're eating? I find that pretty hard to believe considering every other surgeon's plan I've ever heard of is protein based.

You mentioned "healthy eating guidelines".. I really hope you're not talking about the dreaded food guidelines. The pyramid that tells you to eat grains first? Also, please make sure that any dietitians you see are experienced and trained to deal with bariatric patients. I went through HRRH and right from the very beginning they tell you to eat protein first. The handout they gave us stresses the importance of protein, and one of the first things we drink are protein shakes. I would seek the advice from your clinic, but as others have said... no surgery will work for you if you're not using it properly.
