It's been 4 weeks since I have lost weight. Is this normal. ..I am continuing to journal and only get 900 calories a day.  I had surgery 3 months ago... Help

I had a 3 1/2 week stall starting one week post-op, and had another 2 week stall around the beginning of month 3 I think. I went to see the nutritionist twice, they weren't really helpful. because if there isn't something obvious you are doing, no one really knows. That being said... you said you are journalling... Are you getting enough protein in? Protein is more important than counting calories. Are you getting your water in? If you journal on my fitness pal, even just for a week you can see your protein counts very accurately as they have a very large food data base. Up your protein, up your water, don't be afraid to have some fat in there... and eat and do something different. Don't be in the rut of eating the same things all the time. Not sure what type of surgery you had, but it is not over at 3 months.

I'm nervous about stalls as well. I am two weeks post op tomorrow. My weight has been the same for almost a week now. I am journaling and getting all fluids in. I've been 223 for almost a week now. I'm worried im not going to lose more!

If you are following your plan, you will lose! If may not be smooth or constant, but your body has no choice but to burn stored energy -fat.

Highest 290, Banded - 248   Lowest 139 (too thin!). Comfort zone 155-165.

Happily banded since May 2006.  Regain of 28lbs 2013-14.  ALL GONE!

But some has returned! Up to 175, argh! Off we go again,
