N/V with shakes

 I had surgery  1 month ago and i still have N/V  with shakes . I have no ideal what i am doing wrong.   I still drink and eat fluids. but when i try to eat some thing  i still get sick. Can some one tell me what i am doing wrong please.

You may not be doing anything wrong. I would try different kinds and maybe try some that are lactose free to see if that is the culprit. Some shakes I don't like because they get too thick and foamy when you make them. Do you get sick just on shakes or from regular food too? Not sure from your post. For food if that's a problem too: Eat slowly, make sure everything is moist, and chew, chew, chew.

I don't think you are doing anything wrong. Your system is still adjusting. I would just take it very slow. Maybe dilute the shake with some water. It tool me a long time to be able to tolerate foods. I am 5 months RNY. Go back to sugar free popsicles, soup, maybe sugar free jello or pudding. Right now I would concentrate on protein and fluids. Food will come.
