The iron also needs to be taken separate from the Calcium right? That's why my routine is taking vitamins four times a day.  Three times include Calcium and one time includes Iron.

put today behind you and prepare for tomorrow and the days to come. no big deal about today, no worries. but to not lapse again i might suggest something like a daily "medicine drawer" such as those who MUST take meds everyday. if they miss a day they could get sick or even die. but it still takes practice for them to remember and become organized about it.  so imagine those of us who merely need vitamins. even more of a challenge to develop new habits

so one way is to sort 'em, label 'em, and keep 'em in plain sight where you won't forget 'em or rush by. taking them with you? prep 'em for a months worth, put 'em in a little baggie or otherwise, and toss 'em in a bag, purse, or pocket before you go to bed. you can also set alarms to remind you to take them, what with all the mobile devices used today

but don't sweat today. you're doing great!

You have some good suggestions.   I have a weekly pill box that is separated into four times a day.  My routine in the morning is to take the first dose and then pack the second two in a pill container but obviously that didn't work so well for me today. I also have a great app on my phone that sends me annoying notifications when it's time to take my vitamins.  I have it set up for the four times a day.  It is annoying but I love it at the same time.  It helps me not forget when I'm busy.

I think I will start keeping an "emergency bag of all of my vitamins in my purse for days like today.

If you have time to take them when you get home, do it.  Otherwise, just get back to normal tomorrow.

Do you have a locker or desk at work? Try bringing some extra vitamins & leaving them there, that way you'll have it there in case you forget to take them at home.

I do this because I tend to forget my AM dose in the rush to get out the door.
