The "crunch" factor

Prior to my surgery almost 10 months ago, I was a "stress" eater, and the biggest stress relief food was anything that had a "crunch" to the eating process. Occasionally, that old demon re-appears. If any of you guys suffered from a similar fate, have you found anything, post-surgery, that is healthy, acceptable, and still provides that "crunch?" Thanks, any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Recently I've been cutting up a slice of cheddar cheese, placing it on parchment on a baking sheet, and baking it at 350 for about 10 minutes. Delicious cheese crisps that I can almost believe are cheezits!

Also a cruncher!

I do lots of seeds and nuts, and also the cheese crisps, but I do haystacks of shredded cheese and pepperoni too.

I add chia seeds to yogurt for the tiny crunch and health benefits.

Apple slices really do the trick for me.  Honey Crisp or Fiji are also sweet, while crunchy.

Roasted wasabi-coated edamame.  Cheese chips.  Pork rinds.

I also have a stash of dry roasted edamame and BBQ pork rinds.  Just tonight, though, I happened upon Quest Protein Chips at The Vitamin Shoppe. one bag is 120 calories and 21 g protein, 5 carbs, 2 g fat, 230 mg Na+.  They are much liked baked potato chips with whey protein, no soy.  One bag is a pretty big serving, I would probably eat 1/2 a bag for a snack.  I tried the barbeque.  Tasted and crunched much like regular baked chips.  I was attracted to the protein/carb ratio.  KP

Dill pickles.   Love the salt and the crunch.

pork rinds, kays naturals - I like the crispy parmesan chips ( they taste like sunchips to me), just the cheese mini snack roundsskinny crisps , I've seen some posters say they liked roasted chickpeas, but I can't ever get them crunchy.
