Decided

Well I decided on the Gastric Sleeve. I hope I am making the right decision. Anyone out there that has had the sleeve can tell me how it has affected them. The good and the bad I would greatly appreciate it. I am awaiting insurance approval and surgery date is set for January 22nd. I am getting really nervous but know in the long run this is the best decision I can make to get to that healthy beginning.

Congrats! :) My surgery is in a few weeks, I can't wait! :) Definitely check out the VSG Forum for experiences.

I started by planning/was approved for RNY but ended up with the sleeve because I was a lightweight and I was afraid of reactive hypoglycemia. My surgeon listened to my concerns and recommended the sleeve. It has been an amazing tool. No looking back here! Good luck on your surgery.
