I was at my first post op appointment and feeling like complete crap because I was so anemic and I heard the guy in the next room over ask our surgeon when he could have sex.  The doctor told him once his steri strips fell off he was free to go for it, but no lifting his lady hahahaha.  At the time I was thinking, "who would want sex at a time like this?" but I'm sure many people aren't feeling so lousy at that point and are ready!

We men are very different creatures in that aspect. I had oral surgery and put the moves on my wife after she drove me home. I was still a little out of it from the surgery but hey why not. lol

Yeah I think the six weeks we had to wait after my son was born were the longest six weeks of my life.

Yes, men hate those 6 weeks.  But between no sleep and recovering from childbirth, it's a necessary break for women!  I also had a small procedure done on my lady parts once and after the doctor said, "nothing in there at all for 6 weeks" and my husband's head flew around and he said, rather desperately, "nothing?!?!"

That is pretty funny. I get the healing thing. I am a really proactive parent so I got up with him a lot as well. He started sleeping through through the night at around two months.

I lied to my husband and told him 12 weeks.

Yeah.

I have no remorse.  I was freaking TIRED

I was with her when they told her. Plus I am pretty up on how the whole process works. I would have respected the 12 week thing if she asked just would have been tough.

Yes, Men are very different....  When hubby had a major broken ankle (almost severed) about as soon as he was home with his cast he was "interested" despite the pain... said he'd find a way to prop it up on a pillow!  LOL
