Hair loss...

I know we've had this conversation many times, but now that I'm losing my hair- badly!- I need a refresher!  How long does this last??  You all say folic acid doesn't help, right?  And does it ALL come back?  When does the re growth start?  Does Rogain help?  My bff is a hairdresser and says it will make it grow back faster. Truth??  

I don't believe that Rogaine will do anything.  You're shedding hair because new hair is pushing it out (google Telogen Effluvium).  Some hair beneficial vitamins will help the new hair grow faster, but not stop the shedding.

For now, get some layers cut into your hair to blend in that new growth

Biotin and zinc -- and there's a Hair/skin/nails formula you can get.

Don't overdo it - or you can get extra hair growing all over.

It is less about vitamin or protein deficiency and more a result of anesthesia.

You can't do much besides the haircut that Val suggested .... Mine came back thicker and healthier than before surgery.
