Whats red, hurts and kinda stinky?

I sprinkle a little baby powder after I clean and dry the area. I get it in my belly button occationaly, and with the powder it is usealy nearly gone in 24hrs.

Thank you all for your replies. I ended up going to the urgent care center so that i would have documentation in my medical record in case it could help in anyway with getting plastics that may be covered by my insurance. I am so glad I did as it was easy peasy in and out in less than an hour. The PA prescribed an anti fungal ointment to apply to the area and things have already started clearing up.

Not fun, but I'm glad you went so it was documented!  Did you have these issues before surgery?  Or only since you had surgery and now the skin lays a different way?  Sorry, just trying to get a heads up on what to expect.  :)

Yes, i did have this issue in different areas before. Never in my belly button though. I think i can thank the new flap for that. Oh well.
