Whats red, hurts and kinda stinky?
My belly button! Last night it felt a bit irritated so i took a look and my belly button was all red and iritated and had some foul smelling odor. I jumped in the shower with antibacterial body wash and then applied antibacterial ointment which have not seemed to help at all.
Now, ive had a type of yeast infection in the past under the belly "apron" or under the girls, but never my belly button an its totally inside. Any experience with this? is there something i can apply to it that will help? Its kinda of a crazy busy time with christmas around the corner so im tryting to avoid a visit to my PCP.

It needs to be kept dry for it to heal. I take an ear swab with alcohol on it and clean my belly button out. The alcohol will dry out the moisture. Sometimes I will put a cotton ball in it until it heals.
I know you are busy, but you should have a doctor document all your infections. You may be able to get insurance to pay for plastic surgery to get rid of that extra skin.
Glad you gave the answer to the riddle cuz for a moment I thought you was talking about your butt! LOL Riding on a hard ass bike seat gives you the same symptoms, LOL, hope you get better soon.

I knew the answer just from the subject header. Been there and done that.
I agree with what the other ladies said. I'd even take a blow dryer to it after my shower, let it rest, then use Monistat.
It is not fun...hope it heals quickly as possible!
