Fitbit - motivating or a toy?
Huge Jawbone fan here, but I see you have lots of recommendations for the fitbit :) My Jawbone is so much more than a toy. It helps me immensely with keeping me on target as far as eating, sleep, and exercise goals.

I have the Microsoft band. It took a little getting used to the shape but is a great tracker of heart rate, steps, calories and sleep. It also has built in GPS to track runs and intervals. You can download workouts to the band and it will walk you through them. Very pleased with it. It has motivated me to start running and is great for tracking calories in gym classes and spinning due to the HR monitor
I received the Fit*****arge for Christmas this year to upgrade my Fitbit Flex which I loved. The charge is even better and I am loving it since it has the display and I can see my totals at any time without having to check my phone or the computer. I really find that I am constantly trying to walk more now that it is easier to see my totals. I also love that there is a watch feature and the caller ID for the phone is just a fun bonus. If you got yours add me as a Fitbit friend my email is [email protected].
