My life starts tomorrow!
So tomorrow morning is the big day. I will be getting my gastric sleeve. I'm nervous, excited, and overwhelmed! Scared of the worst, but really looking forward to bending over to touch my toes w/I having a big roll restricting my breathing! I have no medical problems...yet. However, it's only a matter of time at my weight. (5'6 and 257 lbs) this is after my preop diet. I'm also worried about so said preop diet. I couldn't stand the protein shakes, they made me gag and my sugar would get very low and I felt horrible! So I did a low calorie/carb/fat diet (1000 cal,
Hi there! My gastric sleeve surgery is at 10:30 tomorrow morning! I am nervous, excited and overwhelmed too! I guess its common. I have waited a long time for this surgery and look forward to many healthy years in my future. The 2 week preop diet was tough but I am happy to say I lost 12 pounds in 13 days. I don't like the protein shakes either! Good luck tomorrow and I will keep you in my prayers.
Yay! Very excited for you! Good luck to you too! I lost 11 lbs, but I'm still worried bc I did eat food, just restricted everything like I said. I'm getting really nervous right now, but I keep telling myself it will be ok. Not sure if it's the surgery I'm nervous about, or the fact that my whole life will change forever. Best wishes!!!
