Can you recommend a good set of measuring cups that you can see the ounces?

Any tools to help me measure my food would be great!

Do you own measuring cups already?  If so:

8 ounces = 1 cup
4 ounces = 1/2 cup
2 ounces = 1/4 cup

World Market has a large selection of nice looking measuring cups. You can find metal ones in funky shapes or pretty elegant ones made from ceramic.

I have the boring metal ones and a glass Pyrex one for liquid measure.

If you need more excitement out of a basic utility item, you could probably check at Pampered Chef or WilliamsSonoma and spend a pretty penny for something you already own.

I bought ones that look like measuring spoons.Easy to read.I can't see well without my glasses. So they are perfect. It does make like easier using them.

I use these Cuisipro Stainless Steel  cups and measuring spoons, I love them and use them everyday, the holes at the end of the handle are large enough that I can use a hook strip, hot glued to the underside of the cabinet and hang them there.. easy access. I also use a 4 cup pyrex glass measuring cup.

I understand completely what you mean.  I buy cheap ones and after a month or so the print wears off of them.

I use the pyrex glass for liquids and a set of metal ones with a rubber handle that I can't recall where I got them from! I have tried to weigh my food instead of measuring it, though. I feel it gives me a more accurate handle on the portion size.
