Should I appeal or not? One of the main reasons u was denied is because my BMI has not been high enough for long enough. I hope to get my letter today to see the reasons for denial

If you want a chance at insurance coverage then of course you should appeal!  Otherwise, you can look into self-pay.

Definitely appeal! And if possible, appeal to the state insurance supervisory body where you are.

just keep in mind it will take time, and can be hard on the emotions. :(

If you can, consider self paying, in or out of the country.

Best thing I did related to my appeal was working with Walter Lundstrom's office. They kept on top of dates, etc and knew the protocol for reaching out to whom and when. They give a GREAT free consult so I encourage you to talk to them before you make your final decision. Their website has the directions you need to get started.

Good luck!
