I'm about 10 months post-op and eat eggs with no issue. Hard-boiled eggs, scrambled, fried. In fact, just had a slice of quiche for lunch!

I'm 7 months post op and can eat eggs with no worries. They're a great source of protein so get amongst it :)

for dinner I had an omelette with bacon cheese and cherry tomatoes. It was delicious and a great protein hit.

Does it matter how they're prepared?  I can eat scrambled or over easy with no problem.  Hard-boiled gets to me though.  Really, it's been the only thing my pouch doesn't like, so I feel pretty fortunate.

Wow, I thought it was only me!  I can eat eggs in every way except hard boiled, too!  Paradoxically, I can eat a small amount of egg salad though??  I don't know why, as it is simply a chopped up hard boiled egg with some mayo added...

I feel pretty fortunate, too.  The only other food that my pouch seems to hate are cucumbers.  I can live without them.

I have prepared eggs every way possible leaving the yoke in them thinking I am getting some vitamin B12 in the yokes. I have fried , over easy and even made a 3 egg omlete leaving one yoke to 2 egg whites in the omlete, it hurts bad as I consume them. Hard boiled really hurts my stomach. So when I just eat the egg white I am fine. I love eggs but don't love the pain I get when I eat them. I have even tried to drink some water as I take each bite. That helps the pain go away but still hurts as long as it stays in my stomach..

I could never eat a three egg omlet -- not even two egg white with a yolk.  EVER.  If my husband eats an omlet, I eat a quarter of his and often don't fini****

I have been eating eggs with no problem whatsoever since Day Three post op (I had a couple of bites of scrambled egg before I even left the hospital). I have never had any pain and have never vomited (or even felt queasy) after eating eggs.

I do notice that a boiled or poached egg sits more heavily in my pouch than scrambled. I think it is because it seems harder to chew the egg down to the right consistency before swallowing when it isn't scrambled.

I am 10 years out and still cannot eat eggs. I can't handle the texture or the taste. Before was I ate eggs all the time.
