Anniversary Note
Reminded that it is 5 years today since surgery. I am now a two time Ironman. I have completed over 30 marathons (latest one last weekend). I have run 6 ultra marathons and now race recumbent bicycles at distances of hundreds of miles in 24 hour periods. I am 57 years old and full of life and yet to find my physical limits. I wore the title of Marine for 20 years, became obese and very unhealthy, then overcame that through surgery and now physical exercise and diet. I say all that to say "You can do it!" And wink wink to brag a little. I am so thankful for this second wind. Experience it yourself. Live a Little!
WOW! That's an amazing post. Thanks for the inspiration.
