Husband finally approves!
I have been holding off for a couple of weeks telling my husband I decided to have gastric sleeve surgery. He shot down the lap band idea a year or 2 back. I lost sleep over the thought of telling him. Saturday I finally just blurted it out. " I'm going to a weight loss Dr. and if he says surgery is the best option I am going to do it!" at first he just looked at me. I talked and little more and he said we'll make it work. I cried. What a relief to know my husband and kids are all for it. He doesn't seem to want to talk about it yet. I asked him to go to the Dr. with me so we will see. Next step.. 1st Dr. appointment Friday!
Good luck!

I am so glad my husband supported me. He was the one that kept pushing me when I would get nervous because he knew how much I wanted to get my lifeback. I had my surgery last Tuesday and even though it was kinda painful I would do it all over again! I am already starting to get my old life back. Good luck to you :)
It took several years for my husband to support me losing weight via the sleeve... it wasn't until he saw me taking my pills regularly that he became all for it because he knows I'm ready to take care of my body. It's so much easier with him on board, but honestly I'd probably still be getting surgery whether he liked it or not! It's not about him... it's about me.
