Ok so I'm 4 months post op and was wondering is it normal to not lose any weight at all some weeks, I thought I'd lost much more by now

Yes, it's very normal.

Totally. Think of it like stairs.  Drop, level stage, drop, level stage.  Many have times of many weeks without loss.

Highest 290, Banded - 248   Lowest 139 (too thin!). Comfort zone 155-165.

Happily banded since May 2006.  Regain of 28lbs 2013-14.  ALL GONE!

But some has returned! Up to 175, argh! Off we go again,

Put your surgery date and type on your profile. It will show u each time you post, and it will help us help you.

Getting on the scale often makes you gain weight.

Very normal...  try changing up you're eating, exercise and be sure and log every bite.  Bring this up at your surgeon's office and support group meetings. They may have some suggestions based on your logs.

i'M AT JUST A LITTLE OVER 3 WEEKS. My first two months I lost tremendously, but the last month and a week or so it has been extremely slow, about 1, sometimes two pounds a week but I am losing inches because now I can fit into 44 jeans and buy them in a regular store. My waist size used to be 52/54! I'm just enjoying a healthier lifestyle, working out, eating better and felling better. One suggestion I will give you-stay away from too many carbs! Do as we were told to do-Proteins, veggies first, lots of water. Although it's going to happen anyway, I'm convinced that my stalls were due to getting comfortable and eating to much bread, lunch meat, etc. Now I'm back to eating as the Dr says I should be eating 3 months out. In the long run-one year from my surgery date-I think I will be where I need to be, average of 2 lbs a week and hopefully 104 pounds lost!
