four weeks post op weight loss plateau
It's frustrating but yeah it's a pretty typical time... your body is just realizing you are not giving it the typical amount of fuel and so it tries to hold on to the stores it has for dear life. It won't last and the scale will kick in again. Think of your weight loss like a staircase with a bunch of landings... the landings are weeks with no scale # drop (often you are losing inches versus pounds as the weight shifts, so measure and take pics) but there will be a bunch of these pauses as you are in the losing phase. Generally stalls last 2-4 weeks if it was longer I'd have a chat with your bariatric team but usually you'll soon see a swoosh in scale #'s again. Keep making the best choices each day, following your plan, creating a new lifestyle you can sustain for the rest of your life.
Best to you!

Use the search function (magnifying glass) and search "week three stall". You will find literally hundreds of posts about it (someone posts about it at least once every week).
Happens to many, many of us. It will pass.

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.
