Anyone  have a sleeve redone?  I  had mine done end of September and wanted to compare results and expectations with anyone out there. Thank you.

Congratulations on your September surgery. I hope that your recovery is going well. I'm curious, though, as to why you are asking about revision all surgery so soon after your VSG in September.

I revised to a sleeve from RNY on October 13, 2014, because I was having terrible ulcer issues over the last 5 years since my RNY in 2009. Making the decision to have revision WLS surgery was definitely not taken lightly.

Could you please give more information about yourself, your WLS type, and what your challenges are.

Thanks

Lisa

I think the OP has just had her sleeve redone! And is asking if there are any others who, like her, have been re-sleeved

Highest 290, Banded - 248   Lowest 139 (too thin!). Comfort zone 155-165.

Happily banded since May 2006.  Regain of 28lbs 2013-14.  ALL GONE!

But some has returned! Up to 175, argh! Off we go again,

Yes, I just had my sleeve redone and am looking for others on the same boat.

Sorry for the misunderstanding, Isaac. I am not re-sleeved, but I did revise from RNY to VSG. The only thing I can say is that I seem to be having more difficulty taking in fluids and some soft solids. Part of that is due to a setback that I had with pleural effusion and thoracic surgery. I don't really know if my experiences are helpful to you, but I would love to hear about your journey.

Thanks

Lisa

There are several resleeves and revisions from sleeve to DS out here.  You may find them lurking out on the Revision forum if they don't speak up here.
