How long was your hospital stay

I am having my RNY on 11/26 and my surgeons nurse says 2-3 days but depends on how I feel. I was just wondering if anyone went home the next day?

I stayed two nights and went home the morning of the third day.

My surgery was on a Tuesday morning and I went home the next night.=)   I remember being SO glad.

I had surgery on Monday and was discharged the next day in the evening. 

I had surgery at 9:45am on Tuesday and went home at 1:00pm Wednesday. Total of 29hrs in hospital.

It will all depend on your progress post-op.  I had RNY 8 days ago and spent 20hrs in the hospital, then back to the Hotel.  The only thing I missed from the hospital was the reclining bed.  If you have a lazy boy at home should be all set.

I went home the day after surgery.  I was glad to get home.

I just had my surgery yesterday and was supposed to go home today but I'm not tolerating liquids orally so I'm here at least another night. It's gonna depend on your body. Don't try to ru**** because you will get much better care in the hospital.

I had surgery on a Tuesday morning and went home friday morning. My doctor waits until day 2 to do the swallow test for leaks. Please dont rush yourself. you will need the time to figure it all out. drinking , walking, etc...

I was there on 9/26 @ 530am and was home on 9/27 @ 5pm. I got more rest at home, for sure!
