Organic F F Milk

I have one gallon Organic F F Milk and the expiration date is passed by by 6 days and seems to still smell and taste ok. I always go by that, but I don't want to get sick being stupid about this, espically since I have this Hernia and gallstone issue now. If it still smells and tastes ok would you drink it?

I am using it to make some homemade Bran muffins today. Does Organic Last longer than Regular F F Milk? the date on the carton sez "Use By" that date. I know the difference between "Use by" versus "Sell by" I have concerns on Organic. I don't buy Organic, this milk was given to me. Thanks for your time. Wendy

^^^^  What GwenMo said.

I wouldn't risk it, especially given your recent medical issues.  When people get ill from dairy, many times there is vomiting and intestinal stuff involved.  Just think how that would feel with your hernia experiences much less any other issues.

I would toss it.  Maybe buy 1//2 gallons in the future.

Organic does last longer than regular Milk because it's ultra-pasteurized. I go by the sniff and taste test.... if both are good then I would use it.

I am certainly not afraid of expiration dates but dairy= bacteria.  Better safe than sorry especially with your recent health issues.  Pour that expired milk down the drain!

I am sorry for you Wendy and really hope you heal 100% quick.😃
