The notion of the "right way" after surgery.

Thanks for sharing this. I am trying to figure out what 'works for me'. My Doc never said to count calories or count carbs. he just said 60-80g of protein,(including a protein shake) and 64oz of liquid. Sometimes I am not sure about the Nutritionists though. They seem to have more of a diet mentality. One of them told me to use My fitness pal to 'make sure' I was getting enough protein... I should have just stuck with what I had been doing...I can count :). Now I see the carbs I see the calories so I am more focused on that them... I keep saying I am going to stop using it, but then I get afraid of eating too much. Sorry for rambling... I just want to learn to eat what I can eat long term... While I for the most part am not eating starchy carbs, an occasional slice of toast with a cup of tea is heaven.
