Submitting To Insurance!

My surgeon's office is submitting for approval to my insurance! Fingers crossed and doing the skinny dance. Haha, just kidding. What's the skinny dance? Lol. 

I called my insurance company and they said it's a 24-48 hour approval turnaround time, provided there are no complications.

Congrats to you! Today was my psych eval, which was my last step so hopefully I will get at date soon!

I'm sure you'll be approved right away, as long as the surgeon's paperwork is in order, which it most likely is.

If the insurance company hasn't verified yet that they received the package, call again on Monday to make sure (for they should have it in the system by then) they have everything they need, so you can be proactive if anything is missing.

I failed that step and after a month, I called to find out that they never received anything.  The second round, I was approved in a week.

Ahhh!  Congrats!  I know you have been waiting a long time for this.  Best of luck!

Congrats to you!!! I met with my surgeon today also and they said they would send in all my stuff to insurance today as well!! I hope nothing is missing! I was told I would hear by the middle part of the week if I am approved and then they set the date. Good luck to you!!! It has been a long road, but happy trails ahead for us ! :)

Some good advice too! I will definitely be calling the insurance company on Monday to check in and made sure my package was received.
