How often do you weigh yourself after surgery?

I use TrendWeight and it's the best thing since sliced bread. I weigh every day and never feel discouraged. Since TrendWeight shows me the way my weight is trending, even when I have daily fluctuations or stall for a week, I know that my weight is still trending in the right direction. For me, weighing daily and using TrendWeight is super encouraging. I highly recommend it!
I get super obsessed, in a very unhealthy way, with numbers, so I was very worried about the whole scale thing pre-op. I'm so grateful that I found TrendWeight because it has kept those unhealthy thought patterns from cropping up.

I weigh in once a month now. My weight is pretty steady 7 years out. I can remember, though, a point in this journey where I knew I was gaining, and I didn't want to get on the scale at all. When I finally did, I was up 45 pounds. It took some doing to get that off, but I did, plus more. Now, I am not afraid to get on the scale, and can catch a gain at 2 pounds instead of some ridiculous amount.

WLS 5/31/07. Maintaining a weight loss of 141 pounds and feeling amazing!
Every time I pass a set of scales! But the fluctuations don't worry me so it's OK! I charted once a week and that is all I really took notice of.
So I suppose the real weighing was once a week.
Highest 290, Banded - 248 Lowest 139 (too thin!). Comfort zone 155-165.
Happily banded since May 2006. Regain of 28lbs 2013-14. ALL GONE!
But some has returned! Up to 175, argh! Off we go again,

I didn't weigh myself until 4 weeks after surgery. Those first 4 weeks I weighed in the surgeon's office during visits. Since returning to work I weigh Monday-Friday, everyday. I plot my weight here on OH every Monday. I can not keep a scale at home because I would weigh myself several times a day and drive myself crazy.
It's a very individual, personal choice. If weighing yourself everyday is going to make you crazy, don't do it.
I do weigh everyday because I want to know exactly where I'm at. Some days I'll be up, some I'll be down. But if you're following your program, the weight will eventually come off.
