I'll bet that if you count up all the calories you've taken in since surgery, it'll be less that you're accustomed to eating in a DAY. Of course you're hungry!
I'm almost 11 years out from my DS, and in all that time there have been very, VERY few days when I didn't experience hunger at some point. Hunger is your body's way of telling you the fuel tank is getting empty. It is OH so normal!
