My stomach does a lot of grumbling to. I have to laugh at it because it is so loud, it never was before I had surgery. If that is the worst thing that happens post surgery we're very lucky.

My husbands gurgles all the time. His surgery was in February. I read on another post that its normal. If its gurgling then its okay, if its not, have it checked.

So its your new normal!

VSG on 05/24/13

Mine still does it! I had the VSG almost 18 months ago and it will still make embarrasing and loud gurgling noises, especially if I have anything carbonated or try to eat some bread product.

VSG on 01/27/14

I am nine months out and my stomach still makes crazy noises sometimes! It's kind of funny when I'm around other people. I make a crack like, "OMG time to feed the alien in my stomach again" or just blame it on other people when it's clearly me LOL.

In fact, just this morning my stomach was talking up a storm. My cats were all wide-eyed with their ears back.
