It's really going to happen...

Two years ago I decided that VSG was the way to go for me.  Then I let someone tell me bariatric surgery was the easy way out and that I should just commit to losing the weight on my own.  After months of trying and basically getting nowhere, on May 12th of this year I had my first consultation with a bariatric surgeon.  We got insurance approval last week and my surgery date will be November 26th.  

I am excited to become a part of this community.  I have already learned so much from those who are willing to share their experiences with all of us. 

IT IS REALLY GOING TO HAPPEN!!  Congratulations on your upcoming surgery.  I had mine last year right around the same time and I remember feeling the same way---best of luck to you on your journey--It'll be here before you know it and I'm sure all will go well with your surgery---see you on the loser's bench!  Lisa
