Ontario VSG question

Just got a letter with my Orientation date! Super excited! I've done a lot of research and would really like to have VSG. I'm anemic, it just makes sense.

My questions is: the letter says that I have requested Gastric Bypass Surgery, I know in Ontario they do VSG now so I'm thinking it's a stock letter they use and I guess I'll be able to discuss all of this with a surgeon when I get one. Anyone in Ontario have VSG (specifically Toronto) Did they give you a hard time about it? I hear they really like to push RnY but I really want VSG.
