isopure zero carb samples???
I'm preop with my surgery date (8/15) getting close so I've been ordering and testing different protein samples. So far I've ordered the sample variety pack from bariatriceating.com. It was a great variety pack with several different brands. I really liked the Nectar ones I've tried so far. But I've been reading about isopure Zero Carb and would like to try it as well.
So far I've been unable to find any samples and I don't want to buy a big container without trying it first.
Anyone seen a site with samples of isopure Zero Carb?
Thanks
Tim
You can buy them at Gnc, like $3.50 each...........they are liquid...they do not come as samples. You buy the whole bottle. I buy them at a different vitamin store in Tucson...Vitamin Wherehouse $2.80 each...they are higher priced at GNC......GNc is not always the best prices...even with all teir so called discounts. I think the good thing about Isopure Zero Carb is that it's a way to get your fluids and protein in one source. Expecially the first weeks depending on your Dr. requirements. Mine has requested clear liquids the first and second week after surgery so this is a do-able request. I tried the product before the surgery and it was ok. I am now 6 days post-op and when my husband picked me up - he had a bottle in the car. I guess what I'm getting at it that it does come already prepared as well and I know that you can purchase individual bottles at GNC and The Vitamin Shoppe. Comes in a bunch of different flavors. Yes, I know it's not a full meal, but at least it's not coming back up................
Good luck on your surgery

Tim,
I had great success with-
Zero Carb Isopure.
Comes in 20 oz Glass bottles,
Sometimes called or referenced as Glass Zero Carb Isopure,
Or even Isopure Crystal on some websites.
Calories - 190, Carbohydrate - 0 g, Protein - 40 g
It comes in a number of flavors-
Passion Fruit, Apple Melon, Grape, Blue Raspberry,
Fruit Punch, Orange, Pineapple Orange Banana,
And Mango Peach.
On the Down Side-
All of them have an after taste that is a little like
Sucking on Old Pennies.
My first thought when tasting it for the first time-
"Who Pee'd in this?!?"
The Upside?
Cut it half and half with some Crystal-Lite
And the flavor is hidden completely.
Don't try to get it all down at once either,
Just have a little, 4 to 5 times a day.
You get in more "water" this way and
Since your system only processes about 30 gms of
Protein at once anyway,
Slowly "trickling" it into your system insures you
Get the maximum benefit from the protein.
If you've got a GNC store nearby,
Stop in and buy a few.
It is cheaper to shop around on the net
And order a case, but only after you know that you will use it.
I found the Orange, mixed with Crystal-Lite Lemonade
Was great and so was the Mango Peach
Mixed with Crystal-Lite's Peach Tea.
Hope this helps.
Best Wishes-
Dx
HI Tim!
I recently got some samples from www.wlssupplies.com It took only a week to come by ups ground.
I got the six pack, you get to choose which ones you want to try. What is nice about the Isopure is that is totally lactose free. I made one into a smoothie this morning to try to see if the lumps would disapear and they did. Highly recommend putting it into a blender.
Good luck on your upcoming surgery and I will be praying for you to recover smoothly.

Tim, the powdered form of the isopure is way different from the liquid premixed bottles. So make sure you get a sample of the powder before you buy it. I have a huge container of apple melon powder that I will not be drinking because it gagged me. I plan to share it with my fellow wlsers at our support group if they want it. Buying this was a costly ($50) mistake for me. However, I ADORE the premixed Isopure drinks. They are Da Bomb. . If you e-mail me your address I would be happy to send you a sample of the powder for free.
Jaimee
Thanks for all of the replys. Chris that is exactly what I was looking for. I'll try out www.wlssupplies.com.
I guess I should have been more specific. I was actually referring to the powder product called "Zero Carb ISOPure". Which comes in these flavors:
Strawberries & Cream
Dutch Chocolate (low carb)
Creamy Vanilla
Pineapple Orange Banana
Mango Peach
Alpine Punch
Apple Melon
I did see them at GNC but only the big sizes which were like $50. Which like Jaimee stated above was way to much to spend without testing a sample first. I'd seen this product at tons of other websites but never any sample. But the site Chris mentioned above has samples.
However I was very interested in the ISOPURE Beverage which comes premade in the glass bottles as well. So thanks very much for that information as well. Sounds great for the first few weeks.
Here is Nature's Best website which shows their product line plus a very informational section that covers the postop diet in it's different phases with sample menus

When you place your order for the Nectar you liked, write a little note in the message box and ask for the samples you would like to taste... if we dont have a factory sealed sample, we will dip you one in a little container. We do this all the time and never mind throwing an extra taste of something in a customers order! You dont need to track down anothor source when we have it. I would be happy to send you some isopure for free in your next order. We only carry the chocolate, vanilla, melon apple, and Alpine... I dont like the rest of the flavors.
ciao
