OH and members. Is it my iPad or the site? (Porn!!)

putting on here rather than to OH by email so others can chime in!

my iPad keeps on switching to ( mild) porn sites or racy dating agencies when I click innocent tabs like th New Topic one!  I think it only happens when I am using OH, trying to watch to confirm this! 

Is this just me and my iPad? Happening to anyone else?  And if it is just me, any techie out there who can suggest what I need to do to stop it? I Do have a slight possibility in mind. My seven year old grandson used the iPad at the weekend. Not suggesting he accessed porn but he did use a YouTube Minecraft video. If he inadvertently clicked on something sexy, could this have started something? If I put on parental control as my default, will that affect my viewing,for example on OH where I have allowed adult content?

I use my iPad, but not having these problems.

The ads are based on sites that the iPad has clicked on.  Parental controls will not have any effect on the ads.  It will put asterisks instead of words that its database says are bad.  Put parental controls on the next time someone uses your iPad.

These aren't adverts! They are websites! Parental controls now on!!

I've been using Apple products for a long time and have not experienced anything like what you described. (Knock on wood!) You probably need to reset your device or take it to the Apple Store so they can help you. 

Yeah! Have just tried a reset so will see what happens and then, as you say, ask Apple!  Pretty sure grandson accidentally opened something!! Have control on now - but late!  But at least it's not really Nast stuff! No actual activity, if you see what Zi mean! 

Usually Apple won't pick up a virus like that. I think if I were you I'd take it in to make sure. Have them give you some tips to keep him off your device!
