CROSS YOUR FINGERS!

Well, I got the nutritional clearance and psych clearance, so,I called the surgeons office to see what my next step is. She told me the next step is to submit to insurance, but she has 5 people in front of me, so she couldn't give me a timeframe. Gosh, I really am not a fan of the staff at the surgeon's office. This is a big deal for me and they rush me off the phone every time I call so i always feel like I am a bother to them. It's silly. I can't complain because if I ruffle their feathers, I will lose out. Anyway, so I know I am waiting for approval... Just not sure when to expect it. Yay!

There were times I felt the same way. What makes barriatric surgery offices so much busier than other type of surgeons?  Just know they ARE working for you and want to get you scheduled. I think we're just ready to get the show on the road and with all the insurance hurdles and slow downs, it seems to take forever.
