Crazy Question

I told the nurse in pre-op that I was on the tail end of my menstrual cycle and she promptly handed me a pad and a pair of mesh panties. I was not allowed to wear anything other than that and the hospital gown. The mesh panties were gone once I was back to my room, replaced by a catheter and drain. I waddled through the halls in my hospital gown with another gown on backward as a robe to not show my business. My drain was yanked (literally) right before I was discharged, my catheter was removed earlier that day.
I had a catheter so no underwear, but I put my bra back on the second I was conscience enough too. I hate not wearing a bra 24/7, it is why I don't think I ever had an issue with my breasts being droopy like others report. I have always worn a bra all the time since I became MO. I still do it now because it is my habit and I feel naked without it. I would have wanted underwear also but they said not to that. The funny part is all summer long when I wear long dresses I never wear underwear. I used to wear panty girdles the entire time I was MO, now that I have a flat stomach and don't need any containment it feels very liberating to wear nothing.
I didn't as I woke up with a catheter in place. I had the RNY and didn't have a drain port so can't respond to that.
