So confused! What do you guys think?

I too had my heart set on the sleeve until my surgeon talked me into the RNY because of my severe GERD (my DeMeester score was 52). My husband had VSG 2 weeks later, and our experiences have been almost identical, except that he's developed some reflux after never having had it before. Both surgeries are only tools and will only be effective if you pick them up and use them. You can eat and drink around either one. The >5 year weight loss and regain statistics are almost identical.
