Concerned...I want WLS but am afraid.

I advise you research the procedure, surgeon and facility you selected. Also take time out to examine yourself in regards to what you really desire. Post-surgery life will be a full lifestyle adjustment; it is not a quick fix. It is awesome to realize the weight loss goals you set and seeing your physic change. The best of luck with your decision.
