Food measure

When I measure - a 1/4 cup of Kashi cereal in cup and when I measure the 2 oz on scale I get much much more on scale. Which one should I rely on..

i would use the cup measure, not the weight measure.

That's because two ounces in volume and two ounces in weight are different. I measure by volume.
