Got My Approval! Scheduling Sugery Date Tomorrow At Surgeon Appt.
I got insurance approval on 10/12/14. My final surgeon appointment is tomorrow and we are going to set the date for my surgery. At my initial surgeon appointment my surgeon told me that from the final appointment to surgery is usually 1-2 weeks as he likes to move his patients along quickly. I am so excited I can't sleep tonight. If everything goes well, I will have my VSG surgery in about 2 weeks. I started this process on 3/21/14 and never thought I would get to this date. Need some words of encouragement. I am nervous and excited!
Just got done with my final surgeon visit. My surgery is scheduled for 10/30/14 at 9:30am. I am excited and nervous at the same time. I start my clear liquid diet on Wednesday. My surgeon was pleased with the amount of weight that I have lost since my first visit with him in May. I'm very comfortable with the surgeon I chose and looking forward to the next chapter!
